Mallorca or Majorca is the largest one among the Balearic Islands and it is located in the Mediterranean Sea. The importance that the city has is mainly touristic, because like others Balearic Islands, Mallorca is popular for its holiday attractions and also because it has around 300 sunshine days per year.
Palma is the capital of the island and it is the center of Mallorca, almost every club, bar or pub here is crowded on holydays, although its nightlife is vibrant, it is not the only attraction of the city, sunny days, golden sand and spectacular beaches (located northeast of the island) are also some reasons why any person would like to be in Palma Mallorca.

Palma is the main attraction of Mallorca, but it is not the only part in the city that is an attractive place to visit; there are other places like the northwest of Mallorca that are not as busy as Palma, instead they there are pretty quiet and beautiful places to enjoy and have a time to relax, places where olive and pine grow and the villages are ochre. Mallorca has a lot of tourism, and there are also quietplaces like the south of the island.
The weather in Mallorca is Mediterranean and pretty hot and refreshed by sea breezes. Mallorca is tourist city because there is always something to do or somewhere to go, the capital is pretty developed but the situation is different in the other parts of the island.
When you are in Mallorca there are several places you can visit, for example one of the most important Cathedrals of Mallorca is La Seu, the Parc the la Mar that offersa spectacular view of the water front, the grand Almudaina palace that has more than 700 years, there is also the Bellver castle, Sanctuary the Lluc, Calvia stroll, the House of Katmandu, among many others.
Like any other touristic city, Mallorca offers a variety of sport attractions such as: golf courses, excursions in glass-bottomed boats, exploration of underground caves, exploration of isolated hilltop monasteries and castles, bird watching and trekking.
You must visit Mallorca, it is an amazing place that offers more than you can imagine.
